In vivo Mass Spectrometry: Direct, Rapid Screening and Profiling Fungal Colonies for Natural Product Discovery Dr. Robert H. Cichewicz, Associate Professor from The University of Oklahoma will present a webinar on the use of the LAESI DP-1000 System as a tool for natural products-based drug discovery applications. In this webinar, Dr. Cichewicz will discuss how LAESI mass spec profiling allows researchers to screen, profile, and characterize newly discovered compounds produced by fungi and other microorganisms. Participants will discover how this direct, ambient ionization system has enabled the analysis of samples typically not possible by other mass spectrometric technique.
